Our own Niccole Holcomb, daughter of Mike & Bavaria Holcomb,
was married to Nathan Pierce, son of Perry and Jackie Pierce of Lucedale, Mississippi, on
Monday, September 23, 2002, at Inspiration Park in Bryson City, North Carolina. The theme
for the wedding was Cinderella (from Niccole's nickname), and due to a true surprise gift
from her Mom & Dad, delivered just before the wedding, she entered in a white,
horse-drawn carriage.
Nathan's dad, Perry Pierce is a longtime friend of the Inspirations,
and among the many enterprises his family is active in, he is a respected Gospel
music promoter in the South Mississippi area. |

The Holcombs, The Pierces and The Uncles, The Inspirations! LOL |
.

That's the officiating Minister, Rev. Clifford Parker,
and perhaps a little background on this particular photo is in order;
Niccolle and Nathan had just staged 'the kiss' for the official photographer, Mark
Haskett, and since everyone was "oooing" and "aaahhhing", Bro. Parker
decided to give Nathan his first lesson in Smoky Mountain traditions . . . or at least our
sense of 'mountain humor'! After a "smidgen" of red-face
subsided, he laughed, at least a "smidgen"! LOL
And then the newlweds rode off together, and everyone else hit the refreshment table. |
