INTRODUCING OUR NEW TENOR, DALLAS ROGERS

    The Inspirations are very pleased to announce that Dallas Rogers is officially The Inspirations' tenor as we begin the next chapter in our story.

    Dallas is stepping into big shoes, and we sincerely believe that he is the right man for the time, as well as an ideal 'fit' for our style and vision. Dallas has previously sung with the Inspirations, filling in for Archie while he was on vocal rest and later as he recovered from surgery to correct throat ailments.

    We respectfully say "Thank You" to The Inspirations only tenor for 45 years, Inspirations Charter Member; 2007 SGMA Hall of Fame inductee, and the Living Dean of American SGM tenors, Archie Watkins, who has now embarked on a much-deserved slowed down schedule as a soloist.

       Dallas is 27 years old and an Indianapolis, Indiana native. He and his wife have been blessed with two children; daughters, Rebecca Michelle, age 2 1/2; and her new sister, Raegan LaVina, born February 9, 2009, at the Skyridge Medical Center in Cleveland, Tennessee. Raegan weighed six pounds, seven ounces and measured 19 inches long. The Rogers currently make their home in Cleveland, Tennessee.

    "We're pleased to have Dallas become a full-time part of the Inspirations," said Martin Cook. "He is a very gifted singer with good range and a voice pleasing to the ears. Having him singing tenor for us will give us tremendous versatility, and we feel it is a most positive setup and hopefully Dallas will be with us for many years."

     Dallas's gospel music background also includes tenures singing tenor with the Dixie Echoes and Journeymen Quartets. He began his professional gospel music singing career at age I8.

    When Dallas is home, he enjoys playing golf, basketball, fishing and boating especially when he is spending time with his family.

    Dallas offers the following words about joining the Inspirations: "I don't know of a more awesome group of Christian gentlemen and wonderful singers and musicians than the Inspirations; and I'm most blessed and appreciative for the opportunity to be a part of a group that commands the highest degree of respect. I look forward to sharing the stage with these men and being a part of the Inspirations family."
