| *Special thanks to my Eco-safari jeep buddy, and table
mate, Ms. Lorelei Dekker of Fed-Ex in Memphis, Tennessee, for many of the photos on this
page. That's why you see only guys in the table photo above. Gentlemen were seated on one
side, and the ladies on the other. I got to drive the 4-wheel ragtop jeep, (in other
words, play! LOL), and she was gracious enough to share copies of her photos. Lorelei,
hopefully I didn't scare you too badly with my driving. |

Imagine the luxury and comfort of vacationing on a leading resort, while at the same time
enjoying great Southern Gospel music. Templeton Tours has chartered the entire Carnival
Cruise Line Ship, ms Holiday, for this Christian cruise. The bars, casinos and
slot machines are closed, and the ship's entertainers are replaced by THE BEST IN SOUTHERN
GOSPEL MUSIC.
The ms Holiday features beautiful lounges, two spacious dining rooms,
two swimming pools, a duty free shop, beauty salon and comfortable staterooms with onboard
cable TV. Cruises are famous for spectacular meals, and the fare onboard the ms Holiday is
no exception with full five-course dinners each evening plus a nightly midnight buffet.
There are also daily buffets, room service, and 24-hour Pizza and ice cream. The ms
Holiday offers a complete children's program with supervised activities for ages 2 - 15
each day. Kids enjoy treasure hunts, movies, video games, ice cream parties and even their
own slide and wading pool.
All this plus . . . Christian fellowship and Great Southern Gospel
Music every day.
The week is an invigorating way to relax and enjoy vacationing in a Christian
atmosphere. Make your plans now to sail with us in 2007, as the Singing At Sea departs the
port of Mobile, Alabama on November 5, 2007.

The main galley (that's kitchen
to us landlubbers) is the very nerve-center of the food department. In this ship alone,
over 1 1/2 (that's one and one half) million meals are prepared annually.
Remember, passengers can literally get food 24/7. Catering on this
grand scale requires a great deal of planning, preparation, man hours, and food.
The provisions are purchased in the United States and are inspected and
approved by the U. S. Department of Agriculture.
The last photo (on the bottom right) was taken during a special tour of
the truly immaculate galley, where it seemed the floors were so clean, we could have
literally eaten off them. In a printed handout supplied by Carnival Cruise Lines, we
discovered some very interesting and amazing facts about the ship's Food Department.
A SAMPLE OF THE SHIP'S WEEKLY
GROCERY LIST:
8,000 pounds of beef (and that does include wonderful prime rib!)
5,000 pounds of poultry

7,500 pounds of fruits and vegetables
4,500 pounds of flour
1,400 pounds of sugar

900 gallons of juices
1,200 gallons of milk
